The timer starts when you type the first letter and stop when you reach 500 characters (spaces included). As soon as the word ERROR appears, use the BACKSPACE KEY to make the correction. The number of words per minute is estimated only if there is no mistake. There is only one space after periods. Two or more spaces give an error.
